Have you been to Nevada yet? You might be from the East Coast and you have not yet been to this state. Most of the state is very much like a desert, with barren rolling hills, but there are some bodies of water that you can visit. Let’s discuss some of the places you can visit in the state of Nevada and then where the best city is in the state.
Unique Spots In Nevada
Some of the unique spots in Nevada will include places like Pyramid Lake. Although there is not actually a pyramid in the lake, it looks as if the small islands like outcropping in a portion of the lake looks like a pyramid in shape. Another possibility is traveling south, going all the way down to Hoover Dam where you can see Lake Mead. That is another body of water, but these all pale in comparison to what you will see if you drive up the Sierra Nevada’s to overlook Lake Tahoe. Although it’s primarily on the California side, it’s a unique spot, considered to be one of the clearest of all of the freshwater lakes in the United States. From there, you can descend, going down Highway 95, until you come to Walker Lake, and then descend into Las Vegas.
What Is The Best City In Nevada?
According to most people, the best place to visit in all of Nevada is Las Vegas. It has everything that you would possibly need to enjoy your vacation. You are going to see wonderful shows, towering iconic structures, and replicas of some of the most well-known symbols of other countries. There is an Eiffel Tower, and a mock replica of the great pyramid of Giza. All of these things can be found in Vegas, and it’s a place you should consider visiting if you have not been there before. It is recommended that you book a trip to this city for at least a week to experience what it has to offer.
Some may argue that Reno is a much nicer place, or even a small place like Gardnerville. However, it is Vegas that draws people from all over the world. It is almost like an amusement park in its unique appearance, and also the way people look at this city that live in different countries. It is somewhat magical, and once you have gone there, you will want to return because of how incredible it actually is.
